A Morgana Major folder has been installed by PSW Print of Redditch as part of a package of finishing products that also included an FRN5 rotary numberer and a Multinak stitcher. The Major was bought to speed finishing of output from an HP Indigo 3050.

Much of PSW’s work is for other printers who value its fast turnaround service on quality colour work, usually in run lengths between 50 and 1500. “We already had a Morgana DigiFold”, explains Print Manager, Philip Skinner, “and this continues to serve us well on one-pass finishing of shorter runs. However, with a greater requirement for higher volumes, the extra folding speed of the Major saves us time and manpower.”

The FRN5 rotary numberer is used for numbering, perforating and scoring of multi-part carbonless sets produced on a digital duplicator, while the new Multinak stitcher handles stitching/stapling of thicker books.
