‘MAJOR’ FOLDER IS A HIT WITH MAIL INTERNATIONAL

Kenny Smith, Machine Operations Leader at leading mailing company, Mail International, is extremely please with his latest purchase, a Major suction-feed folder from Morgana Systems. So much so, in fact, that he sent an email to the company thanking them “for a great product and a great service.”

Based in Burgess Hill, Sussex and ranked by customers as one of the top 10 mailing companies in the UK for quality, Mail International needed a new machine to replace a Morgana UFO folder that had taken care of folding operations for 24 years, but was beginning to show its age. Kenny Smith comments, “We needed something fast that could quickly deal with runs up to 50,000 and would have the same kind of reliability we had come to expect from the UFO. Speed of set-up and ease of operation were also high on our list of desirable features. In all respects the Major has proved to be exactly what was required – it handles all the folds we need to use and has provided really good value for money. In my experience, it is one of very few pieces of equipment that does exactly what it claims to do.”

The Morgana Major takes a 630mm x 365mm sheet size, offers counting and batching as standard and plug-in perforating and scoring. It operates at variable speeds up to 27,000 sheets per hour.
