MORGANA TO SHOW COMPLETE RANGE OF DIGITAL FINISHING PRODUCTS AT DPW

The biggest and best-integrated range of specialist digital finishing products can be seen on the Morgana stand at Digital Print World 2006.

Thanks to constant additions and refinements, the Morgana range now covers the gamut of creasers, creaser/folders, folders, bookletmakers and complete finishing systems and DPW will see the first public appearance of Morgana’s latest product in the shape of the KB 2000 perfect binder. Capable of producing 320 books per hour, the KB 2000 is the result of a lengthy search by Morgana for a perfect binding system that overcomes the problem of fusion oils produced by some digital print processes.

Other recent introductions on display include the Morgana DigiCreaser, a unit that is fully automatic after feeding and completes a range of creasers that includes everything from manually operated models, through the semi-automatic Electro-Creaser to well-known best sellers such as the AutoCreaser 33 and 50 and the DigiFold.

All these UK-made Morgana creaser provide customers with a guaranteed upgrade path to meet the increasing demand for digital finishing; a path that culminates in the Morgana DocuMaster, a complete system that combines feeding, creasing and bookletmaking in a single unit. This highly-successful product halves the time and manpower required to make booklets using separate creasing and bookletmaking units and can also be used as an independent creaser with the ability to perforate. The stitching mechanism can be by-passed for simple folding work and an optional Square Back System may be employed to square the back of thicker books in order to provide a perfect bound appearance.

On products to be shown by Morgana include their range of rotary numberers and the Foldnak range of bookletmakers and trimmers by Ernst Nagel, who also make the Citoborma range of drills for which Morgana is sole UK distributor. EBA programmatic guillotines will also be on display, as will Uchida collators, Rhin-o-Tuff punching and binding equipment, the Bindomatic 101 presentation binder and the popular Morgana CardXtra, which is designed to produce short run business cards printed digitally or conventionally.

At Digital Print World Morgana will be finishing output from leading digital print systems operating at the exhibition.
