The 551 has all the features of the 550 but has an electronic photocell safety guard protecting the front table area.
Hydraulic precision drive for blade and clamping, electronically guarded front table area by safety cover, a manually operated hand wheel for fine adjustment of the back fence and an electronic digital display with an accuracy of 1/10 mm.
It has a large cutting capacity, an infinitely adjustable clamping pressure with display and a foot clamp for pre-pressing. There is also an optical and mechanical cutting line indicator. Side tables at the right and left side are optional, as is a front and rear air table (LT versions).
